I have always and always been wondering about the road not taken - thinking what course my life would've taken, had I chosen the road not taken. But now, when I see the end of the road which I chosen for myself, all I want to say is this:
Yesterday was a clear horizon,
But now the clouds are rolling in - and yesterday's disappeared.
The one thing that I've always believed in,
It's strange how, right now, it all seems so unclear.
I consult my soul -
It tells me that it knows that
There's no doubt, one day
I'm going to fly,
I need to stand up, dust myself off...
Just for now -
It's the end of the road.
When something ends something begins,
But now it's just the end of the road.
When someone loses someone wins,
But now it's just the end of the road.
Don't get to fix it if it doesn't break -
But now it's just the end of the road.
When you have to leave,
It makes you want to stay back, even more...
I know it's the end of the road -
It's the end of the road.
One line can change a story,
So sometimes let the line just be unsaid.
Pride only thinks about the glory
Of the moment,
And not the days ahead.
I've held my breath,
Walked on shells, hoped for the best.
What the future holds,
I don't know...
But I've got to stand up, dust myself off...
Just for now,
It's the end of the road.
I've been traveling.
Getting the dust right off the windshield, thinking
No one gets the road map to their life -
'Cause life is so subjective.
I'll take my pain and I want to protect it.
It never blinds me, always reminds me...
There's so much more to see -
At the end of the road.
Something ends something begins,
But is this the end of the road?
Someone loses someone wins,
Is this the end of the road?

I can't put in words what I felt after reading it ....probably this is how life handles us .. and as time shall pass by .. what we believe right now would seem unobvious too.. probably the horizon will get clear again .. it has to :)
The poem ( and the life ) is beautiful :)
